The Global Hyatt Corporation selectes a new e-Procurement solution provided by Birch Street Systems to streamline its purchasing processes for all Hyatt properties worldwide.

Hyatt indicates that Birch Street was selected because of its ability to integrate with a wide variety of suppliers. While in the evaluation process, Hyatt realized that 70% of their suppliers were already integrated with Birch Street and the ability to add on additional suppliers was a snap. In addition, Birch Street could support many different languages and currencies and their solution is hosted, which takes the cost of ownership down for Hyatt.

The Hyatt agreement with Birch Street covers over 700 properties in 41 countries and the rollout begins in September.
